Things you have to think before a getaway to the Maldives.

The Maldives have some of the best marine life viewing, both above and below the water. In the North Male Atoll, there’s a high concentration of Manta rays; it’s sometimes possible to see them from the air as your seaplane glides past Manta Point. In the waters around the Maldives, you can find the eagle ray, which tends to like the open ocean more than the sea bottom or the reefs, the enormous manta ray, also called the devilfish, which can measure between 20 and 25 feet across, and the sting ray, much smaller, but still respected by divers because of the painful barb in its tail.Maldives is believed to be based on an underwater mountain range, rising from its depths. Graceful and unlike any other earthly creature, rays fly and glide through the undersea depths with seemingly little effort.  This mountain range acts as a base for the coral reefs surrounding each island of Maldives . Coral reefs of about 70 different species and in almost every colour decorate the waters surrounding these islands.
